Automotive Mechanic – Permanent, Full-Time

OPENLANE is looking for a passionate and experienced automotive mechanic to join our team. You will contribute to technical quality and customer service across a variety of vehicles.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-purchase/sale inspections (bodywork, transmission, differential, powertrain, etc.) — approximately 60% of the time
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles (cars, motorcycles, and other motorized vehicles)
• General maintenance of customer vehicles (oil and fluid changes, tires, checks, etc.)
• Work on key systems (braking, exhaust, air conditioning, transmission, etc.)
• Workshop tasks, including vehicle intake and road tests to diagnose repairs
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications

Essential

• CPA card (Apprentice 3 or Journeyman) or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics
• Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment
• Attention to detail and team spirit
• Health and safety at work foremost

Ideally

• Strong experience in automotive mechanics
• Experience in customer service
