Ford St-Basile – Experienced Automotive Mechanic / Technician

Location: Saint-Basile-le-Grand, Quebec

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our brand-new workshop and dynamic team at Ford St-Basile, a Ford dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electronic systems on Ford vehicles and, if necessary, on various other vehicles, following manufacturer procedures and internal quality standards.
• Use specialized instruments and software to diagnose systems and establish precise diagnostics (Ford diagnostic tools preferred).
• Perform preventive and corrective interventions with diligence, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure prompt, reliable, and customer-focused service.
• Clearly document interventions and parts used; conduct road tests after repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in a new workshop conducive to efficiency.

Desired Profile and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Ford experience considered a significant asset.
• DEP or equivalent in automotive mechanics; valid driver’s license.
• Skills in diagnostics and using computerized tools and software (ideally Ford tools).
• Team spirit, customer service orientation, and professional rigor.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to daily priorities.
• CPA certifications: CPA skill card (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year) or Apprentice (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year).
