Job Offer: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Context Girard Automobiles, a Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM and FIAT dealership, is looking for an automotive mechanic to join a stable and dynamic team. Opportunity for development within an established dealership recognized by the manufacturer. Signing bonus offered to experienced candidates on Stellantis products.

Location Repentigny, Quebec (region)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines, anti-pollution systems, and electrical/electronic systems
• Diagnose and repair hybrid and electric vehicles
• Work on air conditioning and heating systems, as well as injection systems
• Program ECM/PCM/ECU components
• Mirror, suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking system
• Lubrication (oil changes, greasing) and general maintenance
• Visually inspect vehicles, perform tire changes and balancing
• Work on vehicles under warranty and out of warranty (both customer and internal work)

Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician
• Experience with Chrysler/Stellantis products: major asset
• Valid driver’s license
• Team spirit, diligence, good judgment, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Good time management and organization skills
• Knowledge of software: Reynolds & Reynolds and SAAQClic
• CPA certifications (1, 2, or 3) or equivalent apprentice certifications (first, second, or third year)
