Mechanic / Diesel Technician – Repentigny Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette
A dynamic and modern dealership, we are seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join our service team. You will contribute to providing a reliable and quality customer experience on Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems (injection, turbocharging, cooling, combustion, starting, transmission), as well as electronic and electrical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Read and interpret diagnostic codes and data; document repairs and results.
- Ensure work quality, meet deadlines, and adhere to safety standards in the workshop.
- Collaborate with the service team to optimize priorities and communicate clearly with customers about repairs and timelines.
- Keep the workshop clean and organized and follow quality control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in diesel engines or equivalent.
- Technical diploma (DEP) or equivalent in automotive mechanics or relevant experience, or training demonstrating the required skills.
- Knowledge of electronic systems and computer-assisted diagnostics.
- Valid driver's license.
- Team spirit, service orientation, and ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Organization, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
