Experienced Automotive Mechanic / Technician – Mazda Joliette Inc. (Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, QC)

About the Position You will contribute to providing reliable service and a top-notch customer experience by diagnosing and repairing Mazda vehicles and others, according to manufacturer standards and our internal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Mazda and other brand vehicles according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
- Diagnose breakdowns with modern tools, interpret data, and recommend solutions.
- Replace parts, conduct road tests, and ensure vehicle safety.
- Write precise service reports and follow up on parts and inventory.
- Collaborate with the after-sales team to optimize turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety standards, internal policies, and quality requirements.
Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics.
- DEP in automotive mechanics, technician, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles; ability to read and interpret schemas and diagnostics.
- Good customer service skills, attention to detail, and teamwork spirit.
- Valid driver's license; availability and flexibility according to operational needs.
- Autonomy, rigor, and problem-solving ability.
- CPA competency card (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C).
Skills & Certifications
- Diagnostic and programming of ECM / PCM / ECU.
- Repair of suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems.
- Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems and hybrid or electric vehicles.
- Diagnosis and maintenance of air conditioning and heating systems.
