Experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician
Bernie Auto Centre, experiencing rapid growth, is seeking an experienced Mechanic passionate about light vehicles and eager to join a professional and well-established team. Compensation
- Attractive package: +20% on your current hourly rate for experienced technicians.
- Compensation is adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repairs of gasoline engines and anti-pollution systems
- Maintenance and repair of brakes (hydraulic systems)
- Work on suspensions and steering
- Diagnostics and repairs of electrical and electronic systems
- ECM / PCM / ECU programming
- Diagnostics and maintenance of HVAC systems (air conditioning and heating)
- Diagnostics and repair of gasoline injection systems
- Work on hybrid and electric vehicles
- Interventions on Ford vehicles, including Transit, commercial vans, and box trucks
- Troubleshooting and solving complex mechanical problems
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work on light and commercial vehicles
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic and physically demanding environment
- Quality mindset, good customer service skills
- Ford certification or experience considered a major asset
