Mechanic/Service Technician – Harley-Davidson Montréal

About Gabriel Harley-Davidson Montréal We are looking for a motivated mechanic/technician to join our service team in Montréal, Québec. With at least 1 year of hands-on experience, you will diagnose, repair and maintain Harley-Davidson motorcycles to high standards, delivering exemplary service to our customers.

Your responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including engines, fuel and exhaust systems, electrical/electronic systems, brakes, suspension and tires
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, battery checks, brake inspections, wheel and tire maintenance)
  • Use OEM service manuals and diagnostic tools to identify problems and perform repairs efficiently
  • Conduct road tests and post-service quality checks to ensure performance and safety
  • Provide accurate repair estimates, communicate results and options to customers, and document all work in the service system
  • Coordinate with parts and service teams to obtain required components and ensure fast turnaround times
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized shop; adhere to safety policies and warranty procedures
  • Stay informed of Harley-Davidson service bulletins and participate in ongoing training

Profile sought

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a motorcycle mechanic or automotive technician
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and solid diagnostic skills; knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles is a plus
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software, hand tools, torque wrenches and reading technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; bilingual French/English is preferred
  • Valid driver's license; ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physical workshop
  • Team spirit, reliability, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Postsecondary certification in Motorcycle Technology or Automotive Technology is an asset
