Job Offer: Mechanic / Automotive Technician
Gabriel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, a dealership for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM in Montreal, is seeking a passionate and performance-oriented mechanic/technician to join our dynamic workshop.

About the Position
You will contribute to ensuring the safety and performance of new and used vehicles from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM by performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of the vehicles mentioned.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to ensure safety and performance.
• Use modern diagnostic tools and interpret electrical diagrams and technical data.
• Collaborate with other technicians and the customer service team to explain work, estimate costs, and deadlines.
• Comply with safety standards, quality standards, and internal procedures of the dealership.
• Manage parts inventory, assess needs, and recommend repairs to be carried out.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and support team spirit.

Profile

• Education: DEP or DEC in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years of automotive mechanic experience.
• Experience: Knowledge or experience with Jeep/Dodge is an advantage; technician trained by Stellantis is appreciated.
• Certifications: EV and Hybrid certifications are a plus.
• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of modern systems and electronic diagnostic capabilities (OBD-II and associated software).
• Professional qualities: Ability to work under pressure, good multitasking skills, team spirit, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
• Languages: Fluent in French; technical English is an asset.
• Conditions: Valid driver's license; availability for flexible schedules.
