Experienced Automobile Mechanic / Technician

Saint-Laurent Hyundai is looking for an experienced automobile mechanic/technician with at least 5 years of experience to join our modern and customer-oriented workshop. Join a passionate team and enjoy an environment where quality work is recognized and valued.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Hyundai vehicles and other fleet vehicles, adhering to OEM standards and internal procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical inspections, and repairs related to mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure precise, compliant work completed within deadlines
• Document interventions in the computerized system, communicate with the service manager, and explain work and costs to clients when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace; collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow
• Diagnose and repair engine systems (gasoline) and anti-pollution systems, as well as injection and transmission systems
• Work on suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking systems
• Diagnose and intervene on climate control systems (A/C/heating) and electrical/electronic systems; perform ECM/PCM/ECU programming
• Work on hybrid or electric vehicles as needed

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto mechanics
• Professional skill cards or certifications required
• Team spirit, technical rigor, and customer service orientation
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of OEM standards and internal procedures; ability to diagnose and communicate clearly on work and costs
• Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles is an asset
