Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Subaru Metropolitan (Saint-Léonard, QC)

Location: Saint-Léonard, near Montreal

We are hiring an experienced Technician/Mechanic to join our Subaru dealership. This position offers a great work environment and competitive compensation. Minimum required experience: 3 years in the field.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Subaru vehicles and, if necessary, other brands, according to manufacturer procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and functional tests.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical bulletins; use computerized diagnostic tools.
• Document interventions and communicate conclusions to the team and, when necessary, to clients.
• Collaborate with the service team and parts department to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
• Comply with safety standards and internal procedures.

Key Technical Tasks

• Engine diagnosis and repair (gasoline)
• Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
• Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning/heating systems
• Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems (gasoline)
• Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
• ECM/PCM/ECU programming
• Suspension and steering repair
• Brake system repair and maintenance (hydraulic)

Profile Sought

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics
• Ability to diagnose quickly and work independently while integrating into a team
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills with clients and team
• Rigor, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards
