Job Offer: Mechanic / Automotive Technician (Hyundai) — Mirabel

About the Company Hyundai St-Jérôme, a Hyundai dealership located in Mirabel (16600 Montée Guénette), is part of the GENX Automotive Group. We foster a culture of innovation and quality customer service, and we are looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our dynamic workshop.

• Location: Mirabel, QC
• Hours: Summer (availability required)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair Hyundai vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and electrical/electronic interventions.
• Read and interpret technical bulletins, diagrams, and Hyundai procedures; propose durable and effective solutions.
• Use diagnostic tools and conduct road tests after interventions.
• Estimate parts and time required; communicate with service advisors and clients when necessary.
• Observe safety standards and maintain workshop cleanliness.
• Participate in quality control and continuous process improvement.
• Document interventions in the management system and ensure warranty compliance.
• Diagnose and repair systems including: gasoline engines, emission control, hybrids/electric vehicles, air conditioning, injection, electrical/electronic systems, ECM/PCM/ECU programming, suspension, steering, and braking systems.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics (workshop/dealership).
• DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent; knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems; proficiency with diagnostic tools; ability to read technical manuals.
• Customer service orientation and team spirit; excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
