Mechanic / Technician - Electric Vehicle Specialist (Longueuil Nissan)
Longueuil Nissan, part of the Motion Group and a leading dealership on the South Shore and in the Montreal area for the purchase and maintenance of Nissan vehicles, is seeking a Mechanic / Technician - Electric Vehicle Specialist to strengthen its service team in Longueuil. Responsibilities
- Perform safety inspections and general maintenance, as well as minor repairs according to Nissan procedures.
- Diagnose electric systems and components of electric vehicles, carry out repairs, and prepare estimates.
- Perform interventions described on the repair order efficiently and accurately.
- Participate in service training and meetings, sharing your knowledge of EV technologies and Nissan updates.
- Conduct road tests to validate corrections and verify the proper functioning of vehicles.
- Update service records and computerized reports in the management system.
- Collaborate with other technicians and the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and meet deadlines.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Required: Skill card for Journeyman 1-2-3.
- Strong diagnostic skills, task organization, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Team spirit, initiative, and customer service orientation.
- Good computer and electrical skills; knowledge of EV systems required.
- Versatility, punctuality, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to perform road tests.
