Mechanic / Automotive Technician – Laval (NAPA AUTOPRO)

NAPA AUTOPRO - Service d'Auto Ste-Rose Inc., a car maintenance and repair center affiliated with the NAPA AUTOPRO network, located in Laval, Quebec, is seeking an experienced Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its team and ensure high-quality service.

Your Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicles (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electronic and electrical systems).
• Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections, perform road tests and diagnostic trials.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, plans, and workshop manuals; utilize modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Propose technical solutions, estimate work, and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Order necessary parts, document interventions, and ensure follow-up on cases.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards, as well as cleanliness and organization requirements of the workstation.
• Collaborate with the team and share knowledge to support the development of less experienced colleagues.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Relevant diploma or training in automotive mechanics; knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of modern vehicles.
• Good analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical rigor.
• Team spirit and excellent customer orientation.
• Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and organizational skills in task execution.
• Valid driver's license; ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Certifications

• CPA skill card (1, 2, 3 or A, B, C).
