Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Volkswagen vehicles by applying manufacturer procedures and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as electronic diagnostics.
• Use VW diagnostic tools and programs to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Collaborate with the service team to meet deadlines, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain high safety standards.
• Write clear intervention reports and document parts used and repairs performed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Vocational diploma in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and electronics; ability to interpret and utilize diagnostic codes.
• Proficiency with manual tools and computer systems, and familiarity with diagnostic systems and associated software.
• Team spirit, excellent customer relations, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license; availability for schedules suited to service needs.
• Continuing education or relevant certifications will be considered assets.

Key Tasks

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and maintain anti-pollution systems.
• Diagnose and repair hybrid or electric vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair fuel injection systems (gasoline) and electrical/electronic circuits.
• Program ECM / PCM / ECU.
• Repair suspension and steering components.
• Maintain the braking system (hydraulic).

Experience

• 3 years as an Automotive Mechanic / Technician.
