Heavy Truck Mechanic – Evening Shift (Laval) – Permanent Position

The position

You will actively participate in the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks in a structured environment where safety, quality, and respect for individuals are paramount.

• Schedule: evening shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Main responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and anti-pollution systems
• Diagnose and repair hybrid or electric vehicles
• Diagnose and repair air-conditioning and heating systems
• Diagnose and repair fuel injection systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems
• Program ECM/PCM/ECU
• Maintenance and repair of suspension and steering
• Maintenance and repair of hydraulic braking systems

Desired profile

Experience and skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy truck or Construction equipment mechanic work
• Knowledge of Cummins or PACCAR engines (an asset)
• Experience in electrical diagnostics (an asset)
• Ability to understand English (reading and video support)
