Mechanic / Technician

Auto mechanic – Class 1, 2 or 3

Canadian Tire Laval Le Corbusier is looking for an experienced auto mechanic to join its auto center. The ideal candidate holds a Class 1, 2 or 3 license and has at least 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical and electrical repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
• Ensure quality work and adhere to manufacturer standards
• Work as a team and provide high-level customer service

Requirements

• Valid auto mechanic certificate of class 1, 2 or 3
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics
• Proficiency with tools and electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Fluency in French, both spoken and written

Skills and qualities

• Analytical mindset, dynamic and organized
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Knowledge of Costar software

Certifications

• Automotive Technician / Mechanic with license 310S
