Experienced Mechanic / Technician – La Prairie Radial Tire Center
Join our La Prairie Radial Tire Center, a family-owned workshop established on Taschereau Boulevard since 1947. Be part of a team proud of its craftsmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction, and help maintain the reputation of excellence of our center in tire sales and installation, vehicle maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, transmission, braking systems, and vehicle engines.
- Perform recommended maintenance by the manufacturer and carry out urgent mechanical repairs.
- Install and balance tires, perform wheel alignment, and ensure proper calibration of related systems.
- Work on hybrid and electric vehicles, adapting to modern tools and methods and staying updated on emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with technical advisors to guide clients and propose the best solutions according to their needs and budget.
- Keep the workshop clean and safe, and follow internal procedures and quality standards.
Daily Tasks
- Wheel alignment
- Oil and filter changes
- Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
- Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
- Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
- Diagnosis and repair of electrical and electronic systems
- Suspension and steering repairs
- Brake system repair and maintenance (hydraulic)
Desired Profile
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics or a related field.
- Relevant training in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience.
- Good diagnostic, troubleshooting, and priority management skills.
- Ability to work in a team and provide quality customer service.
- Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools and ability to read technical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license.
