Automotive Technician – Used Vehicle Reconditioning
Location

Mission
We are looking for a resourceful and autonomous automotive technician to ensure the reconditioning of our used vehicles. You will quickly diagnose issues, efficiently repair, and propose economical solutions without compromising quality. You will work in a workshop equipped with new equipment, within the Used Vehicles department.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose incoming used vehicles
- Perform necessary mechanical repairs (brakes, suspension, electrical system, fluids, etc.)
- Prioritize interventions based on cost/benefit ratio for market readiness
- Propose alternative solutions when standard repairs are too costly
- Document interventions and ensure traceability per unit
- Collaborate with the Used Vehicles Manager, the Bodywork department, and the Parts department on the status and needs of units
- Diagnose and repair the following systems: gasoline engine, anti-pollution systems, hybrid/electric systems, air conditioning and heating, injection, electrical, and electronic systems
- Program ECM/PCM/ECU and work on suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking system
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics
- Auto mechanic diploma appreciated; otherwise proven equivalent experience
- Autonomous and resourceful, capable of managing workload with minimal supervision
- Excellent prioritization skills focused on profitability, speed, and safety
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
- Valid driver's license; experience with manual transmission is an asset
