Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Technician – Trucks BL

The Position
- Diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines (and gasoline depending on equipment), anti-pollution systems, and related installations.
- Diagnostics and repairs of hybrid or electric vehicles.
- Maintenance and repair of air conditioning/heating systems and injection systems.
- Work on electronics and electrical systems, ECM/PCM/ECU programming.
- Suspension, steering, and hydraulic braking system repairs.
- Work with cutting-edge tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve breakdowns effectively and safely.
- Perform preventive maintenance operations and necessary repairs.
- Intervene on embedded systems, engines, and transmissions as needed.
- Document interventions and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the team and share knowledge via BL Academy.
Profile Sought
- Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience. Or experience in automotive/agricultural mechanics wishing to specialize in heavy vehicles.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong interest in learning and skill development (junior or senior level).
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about: Detroit Diesel and Cummins engines, Bendix/Wabco ABS systems, DT12 transmission, A/C systems, and manufacturer software.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize interventions.
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and team spirit.
- Commitment to safe practices at all times.
