Your role

Under the supervision of the project manager, the installation technician is responsible for installing roof-mounted campers, truck tents, and accessories; they assemble, adjust, maintain, and install equipment according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Install roof-mounted campers and truck tents
• Install various accessories (awnings, drawers, storage systems, 12V fridge, solar panels, auxiliary batteries, etc.)
• Install wheels, tires, and off-road vehicle equipment
• Perform custom adjustments and modifications
• Diagnose and resolve installation issues
• Prepare vehicles for delivery to customers
• Provide quality customer service
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment
• Check the condition of power tools, batteries, and chargers
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of work areas
• Report any damage, wear, or missing equipment
• Contribute to maintaining an efficient, organized, and safe workshop
• Perform any other related tasks as requested by immediate supervisor

Profile

• Relevant training or experience in mechanics, bodywork, cabinetry, manufacturing, or related field
• Basic knowledge of 12V electrical systems
• Knowledge or experience with off-road or RV accessories
• Interest in recreational vehicles, camping, or off-road activities
• Developed manual dexterity and ease with electrical and workshop tools
• Rigor, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
• Autonomy and resourcefulness
• Problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license

Working conditions

• Part-time or full-time, depending on profile
• Starting salary at $20/hour, negotiable based on experience
