Job Description
Position: Skilled Technician / Apprentice in Automotive Mechanics
Hyundai Châteauguay is seeking an experienced journeyman technician and/or apprentice in automotive mechanics to join a dynamic and committed team.

Main Responsibilities
- Observe and diagnose engines that are running or malfunctioning.
- Test vehicles on the road to detect issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Test and adjust parts according to specifications.
- Diagnose and repair the following systems (details below).
Technical Areas
- Diagnosis and repair of gasoline combustion engines
- Diagnostics and repairs of anti-pollution systems
- Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
- Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems
- Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
- Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
- Programming ECM / PCM / ECU
- Repair of suspension and steering
- Maintenance and repair of hydraulic brake systems
Candidate Profile
- Experience in automotive mechanics (at least 1 year)
- Valid Quebec driver’s license
- Attention to detail and high quality work ethic
- Personal tools
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Good physical condition
