Mechanic / Technician – Electric Vehicles (Day Shift)

Mega Kia Brossard, a dealership specializing in electric vehicles in the Brossard area, is seeking a motivated and passionate Mechanic / Technician to join our dynamic team. Day shift position.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electric and hybrid vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, propulsion, batteries, and power electronics.
• Read and interpret diagrams, diagnostic reports, and technical procedures; use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene rules in the workshop, especially for high-voltage work.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide quality customer service and propose sustainable solutions.
• Document interventions and update technical and service records.
• Actively participate in ongoing training and share knowledge with the team.

Desired Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics; preference for experience with electric/hybrid vehicles.
• Experience with Kia or Hyundai is an asset and may contribute to favorable conditions.
• Strong interest in electric vehicle technologies and good team spirit.
• Ability to work in a workshop environment while respecting safety procedures and quality standards.

Conditions and Benefits

• Hours: Day shift, 5 days/week (40 hours).
• Compensation: up to $107,000 per year, depending on experience and collective agreement.
