Job Offer: Experienced Automotive Mechanic / Technician
Boisvert Ford, a Ford dealership located in Boucherville, is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join its high-performing workshop focused on customer satisfaction. Full-time position.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford vehicles and compatible models according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics using specialized tools and Ford diagnostic systems; read schematics and technical manuals.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and carefully document interventions in customer records.
- Collaborate with service advisors to plan work, estimate timelines, and ensure quality repairs within scheduled deadlines.
- Adhere to safety standards, warranty procedures, and quality control requirements.
- Offer service recommendations and contribute to achieving workshop goals and customer loyalty.
Desired Profile
- Ford training required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
- Relevant diploma in automotive technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Ford systems and ability to use appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to work standing and handle parts and equipment.
- Good communication and customer service skills; team spirit and independence.
- Ability to pursue ongoing training and adapt to emerging Ford technologies.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.

- Diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines
- Diagnosis and repair of anti-pollution systems
- Diagnosis and repair of hybrid or electric vehicles
- Diagnosis and repair of air conditioning and heating systems
- Diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems
- Electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair
- ECM / PCM / ECU programming
- Suspension and steering repair
- Brake system maintenance and repair (hydraulic)
Experience and Qualifications
- 3 years as Mechanic / Technician
- Valid automobile driver’s license
