Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)

Apprentice Mechanic – LGS Performance (Groupe Savard), Terrebonne

Join LGS Performance, the auto maintenance and mechanical division of Groupe Savard, and help provide an exceptional customer experience. Full-time position, mainly aimed at final-year students in Auto Mechanics training.

Job Description

Under supervision, you will contribute to the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of vehicles (exotic, luxury, and standard). You will work collaboratively with experienced technicians and adhere to quality, safety, and traceability standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the disassembly/assembly, balancing, and replacement of tires (seasonal tires).
• Help with the disassembly/assembly and restoration of engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles.
• Participate in troubleshooting using specialized tools and equipment; validate parts and procedures.
• Prepare and document interventions in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Work with technicians to resolve technical issues and ensure an optimal customer experience.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized and apply safety rules and internal procedures.

• Oil and filter changes
• Electric and electronic diagnostics and repairs

• Suspension and steering repairs
• Hydraulic brake system maintenance and repairs

Desired Profile

• Final-year student in Auto Mechanics training or apprentice mechanic with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong interest in automobiles and exotic, luxury, and standard vehicles.
• Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work under direct supervision in a dynamic environment.
