Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) – Kia Quebec, Quebec

Main Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections on used vehicles and conduct road tests to identify additional maintenance or safety needs.
• Diagnose and repair faults on various vehicles, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily repairs (oil and filters, tires, suspension and steering, hydraulic braking system, electrical/electronic diagnostics).
• Document all interventions and recommendations on the repair order and follow up with the workshop supervisor.
• Actively participate in training programs and continuously update technical skills.

Profile and Skills Required

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a diploma as an automotive mechanic/technician apprentice.
• 3 years of apprenticeship required.
• Team spirit, rigor, and ability to accurately document interventions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Keen interest in professional development and ongoing training.
