Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) – Montréal-Est Toyota (Groupe Tremblay Auto)

Montréal-Est Toyota, located in Pointe-aux-Trembles and a member of Tremblay Auto Groupe, is seeking a motivated Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join our service team. In an environment focused on customer service excellence and professional development, you will contribute to the maintenance and repair of Toyota and used vehicles under the supervision of experienced technicians.

The position

• Job type: Full-time
• Location: Montréal-Est (Pointe-aux-Trembles)

Main responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in preventive maintenance and repair work on Toyota and used vehicles.
• Participate in diagnosing simple malfunctions and implementing solutions under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, filter replacements, pre- and post-service checks, functional tests).
• Contribute to cleaning and organizing the workshop, as well as adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate in the restoration of vehicles and communicate relevant observations to the team.

Candidate profile / Requirements

• Minimum experience: 1 year in a similar role or an automotive mechanic apprenticeship pathway accepted.
• Valid driver's license.
• Team spirit, technical curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and procedures.
• Good communication skills and organizational sense.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and computer-assisted diagnostics is an asset.
