Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) – Subaru Metropolitan (Montreal)

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join our Subaru Metropolitan workshop. You will work within a dynamic team and benefit from an environment conducive to developing your technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Subaru vehicles following internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and prepare vehicles for inspections.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to learn best practices.
• Communicate work progress and customer needs to the team.
• Follow safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a healthy work environment.

Examples of Daily Tasks

• Oil and filter changes
• Diagnosis and repair of electrical and electronic systems
• Tire and wheel installation
• Repair of suspension and steering
• Maintenance and repair of braking systems (hydraulic)

Desired Profile

• Relevant diploma or equivalent training; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position (apprentice accepted).
• Team spirit, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Passion for automobiles and curiosity about the latest technologies.
• Valid driver's license.
