About the position

As an apprentice mechanic / technician, you contribute to the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Mazda vehicles. You work in a modern environment that promotes learning, with support from experienced technicians and ongoing training on Mazda technologies. You actively participate in repairs that meet the manufacturer’s standards and aim for customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities

• Read and interpret repair orders, technical diagrams, and workshop manuals.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance and assist technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized, respecting safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in Mazda training sessions and workshop development activities.

Candidate profile

• Open to apprentice mechanics and students in automotive mechanics; no prior experience required.
• Highly motivated to learn, technical curiosity, and interest in mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Team spirit, positivity, and good communication skills.
• Rigor, organizational skills, and ability to follow established procedures.
• Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics; familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment is an asset.
• Fluent in French; functional English is an asset.
