Team Leader – Specialized Credit and Auto Financing (Second and Third Chance Programs)
Prêt Auto Partez is seeking an experienced automotive finance professional to supervise, support, and train a team of development advisors specializing in second and third chance credit cases. Main responsibilities
- Supervise the daily work of a team of less experienced finance advisors
- Train new employees on auto financing processes, credit applications, and lender practices
- Assist in analyzing second and third chance credit cases and review more complex files
- Recommend the best financing strategies and serve as a resource for the team
- Ensure quality control of files, working methods, and adherence to procedures
- Help the team improve communication skills and presentation of financial solutions
- Negotiate with specialized financial institutions to secure the best terms
- Handle certain customer cases when expertise is required
- Collaborate with management to improve processes, training tools, and departmental performance
Profile sought
- Significant experience in auto financing and specialized credit, with proven knowledge of second and third chance cases
- Ability to train, lead, and motivate a team; pedagogical, patient, and constructive approach
- Positive leadership and team spirit
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
- Good knowledge of financing products, insurance, and auto warranties
- Supervisory or training experience considered a significant asset
