Job Description
Automotive Financial Advisor (F&I) (2nd and 3rd Credit Chance)
Joliette Mitsubishi — Notre-Dame-des-Prairies (Lanaudière) • Permanent, full-time position
Compensation 100% performance-based — potential $120,000 to $180,000+
You will work with qualified leads generated by our proprietary platform monfinancementauto.com and dealership traffic. Your role is not cold calling: it involves converting real inquiries into profitable deliveries.
Your responsibilities
Sales side
- Greet and qualify the customer: needs, actual budget, payment capacity, down payment, interactions
- Select the appropriate vehicle (new or used) based on credit profile and loan structure
- Negotiate the transaction and finalize the agreement
Financing side
- Prepare the financing file: application, verifications, structuring the down payment, interactions, collateral guarantee
- Present and get approval for the file with our network of specialized lenders
- Sell F&I products: mechanical protection, credit insurance, replacement warranty, appearance protection, engraving
- Prepare delivery and ensure compliance on each file
Results side
- Achieve your volume targets, F&I penetration, and average profit per file
- Maintain high customer satisfaction
The profile sought
Non-negotiable
- Minimum 3 years of automotive sales experience with actual exposure to financing (file assembly, presentation to lenders, sale of F&I products)
- Solid understanding of alternative lenders and underwriting criteria
- Valid driver's license
What makes a difference
- Direct experience in specialized credit (2nd/3rd credit chance)
- Familiarity with modern DMS systems (Serti, Dealertrack, Reynolds, or equivalent)
- Hunter and advisor profile: ability to close sales and keep the customer engaged during financing
- Bilingualism (an asset)
