Fortier Ford, a dealership of the GENX Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all workshop activities and coordinate technicians and assistants to ensure operational efficiency, meet deadlines, and maintain repair quality.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, safety standards, and work standards; lead quality controls and technical inspections.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate team performance; manage scheduling, leave requests, and labor needs; foster a positive and service-oriented work environment.
• Work closely with service advisors and reception team to guarantee a high-level customer experience and clearly communicate delays or solutions.
• Supervise parts and tools management, optimize workflow, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities and support major technical interventions as needed.
• Follow up on work and ensure proper task distribution.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 3 years experience in supervision or workshop management within the automotive sector (dealership or workshop); experience in an OEM environment is an asset.
• Proven leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strong service orientation; ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repairs; proficiency with workshop management software and the ability to read technical diagrams.
• Organization, time management, and ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in French; functional knowledge of English is an asset.
• Technical training in automotive mechanics or equivalent diploma; team management or operational management training preferred.
• Valid driver's license; experience with manual transmission.
