Service and Inventory Manager – Reconditioning, Preparation, and Vehicle Delivery

Position Context HGregoire is seeking a Service and Inventory Manager to oversee the reconditioning, preparation, and delivery operations of vehicles for its four branches. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing a high volume of vehicles while ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the reconditioning process and ensure preparation deadlines are respected.
• Ensure vehicle quality standards are maintained.
• Oversee the team responsible for preparation and deliveries.
• Coordinate preparation stages with subcontractors.
• Verify the quality of work and the costs billed by suppliers and subcontractors.
• Estimate and control reconditioning costs to optimize expenses.
• Open and close work orders related to preparation and delivery.
• Maintain rigorous inventory tracking of vehicles.
• Facilitate communication between sales, finance, delivery, and service departments.
• Manage after-sales service cases and ensure prompt, professional follow-up with customers.
• Handle administrative files when required.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels and analyze recurring issues to propose solutions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Mandatory experience in the automotive sector; preference for used vehicles.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, at an intermediate-advanced level.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of operations.
• Leadership skills and ability to supervise a team.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent prioritization.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of automotive mechanics and parts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer tools and management software; knowledge of the ERA system is an asset.
• Proposed location: Saint-Eustache, QC, and surrounding areas (to be confirmed based on assignment).
