Service Clerk – Fortier Ford (GENX Automotive Group), Montreal East

Fortier Ford, the new dealership of the GENX Automotive Group in Montreal East, is seeking a Service Clerk to ensure workshop efficiency and support technicians in vehicle maintenance operations.

Mission

Contribute to workshop performance by performing maintenance tasks according to manufacturer procedures and specifications, with rigor and safety, while ensuring organization and traceability of interventions.

Main Responsibilities

• Change oil and filters; perform preventive maintenance and basic checks as needed by the workshop.
• Move and position vehicles between departments and prepare vehicles for technicians.
• Install and replace tires and wheels; perform mounting and dismounting.
• Replace batteries and perform associated checks.
• Offer manufacturer’s preventive maintenance programs in accordance with recommendations.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized; assist technicians when necessary.
• Follow procedures, safety instructions, and ensure traceability of interventions.
• Report any anomalies or parts needs to ensure safety and quality of interventions.

Desired Profile

• No experience required; automotive mechanic training or internship is an asset.
• Team spirit, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and quickly learn manufacturer protocols.
• Good communication skills with colleagues.
• Interest in automotive maintenance and safety standards.
• Relevant training or willingness to undergo employer-sponsored training; continuing education available.
