Job Openings: Installer - Auto Center (Laval)

Join our dynamic auto center and contribute to providing reliable and professional service to our clients. You will handle routine maintenance, repairs, and interventions related to tires and vehicle components.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles (lubrication, oil change and filter replacement, tire rotation and balancing, routine repairs and inspections not requiring an certified mechanic).
• Complete inspections for the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RVI).
• Communicate with the Auto Center manager, technical advisors, and parts staff.
• Provide accurate estimates and written reports to technical advisors.
• Report any dangerous vehicles to the management team and owner.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Key Tasks

• Oil and filter changes
• Moving vehicles between workstations
• Advising on manufacturer preventive maintenance programs
• Installing and removing tires and wheels
• Replacing batteries

Profile and skills

• Valid driver's license in the province of employment
• Ability to perform physical effort (standing, walking, lifting, and handling loads)
• Availability to work in shifts (day, evening, weekends, and holidays)
• Customer service skills and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment
• Problem-solving skills, adaptability, and decision-making ability
• Knowledge of current automotive technologies
• Proficiency with computer systems
• Results-oriented

Experience and assets

• Experience in a similar position (advantage: experience in an auto center)
• Good practical knowledge of COSTAR (asset)

Certifications

• CPA competency card (levels 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C)
