Experienced Automotive Technical Advisor

About the position

Solution Ford Châteauguay is looking for an experienced Automotive Technical Advisor to support a dynamic team, serving loyal customers. You will work in collaboration with technicians and clients to propose efficient and transparent solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and present maintenance and repair options.
• Diagnose issues in collaboration with technicians and prepare work orders.
• Estimate costs and timeframes, obtain customer approval, and communicate updates proactively.
• Schedule and coordinate workshop interventions, ensuring quality and safety.
• Provide exemplary customer service, resolve disputes, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Participate in achieving service sales objectives and customer loyalty.

Profile sought

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or in automotive technical consulting; DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience (an asset).
• Good knowledge of electronic systems and diagnostic tools; proficiency with workshop management software.
• Excellent customer service skills, clear communication, and team spirit.
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize requests, time management, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual French/English preferred; professional attitude and results-oriented.
