Automotive Technical Advisor

Role The technical advisor is responsible for identifying vehicle maintenance and repair needs, recommending appropriate services, and organizing the execution of work while ensuring a quality customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet customers and gather information related to their vehicle.
• Identify and recommend maintenance and repair needs.
• Explain work to be done, costs, and timelines; propose corresponding services.
• Schedule and coordinate interventions; assign tasks to technicians.
• Prepare detailed estimates (labor and parts) and follow up.
• Manage appointments and track vehicle files in the workshop; answer calls related to appointments and ongoing work.
• Follow up with customers and ensure customer satisfaction at each step.
• Promote and sell services and products recommended by the manufacturer (lubrication, safety inspection, and other required maintenance).

Desired Profile

• Experience preferred: 1 year in a similar role.
• Knowledge of CDK/ADP system: an asset.
• Bilingual French/English to communicate with a diverse clientele.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and customer orientation.
• Ability to work as a team and coordinate activities in the workshop.
