Automotive Technical Advisor – After-Sales Service

About the position

Boisvert Ford is looking for an Automotive Technical Advisor to ensure excellent customer service within our dealership. You will be the technical liaison between the customers and the service team, to guarantee a smooth experience and optimized turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their technical needs in collaboration with the after-sales team.
• Explain diagnostics, repairs, and costs, and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present service estimates; follow up on repairs and communicate timelines.
• Work closely with technicians and the sales team to optimize the customer experience and turnaround times.
• Update customer records and ensure traceability of interventions in the workshop’s computer systems.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by adhering to dealership procedures and industry norms.
• Follow up on work orders and open/close work tickets.
• Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls.
• Participate in the sale of complementary products and services.

Profile sought

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technical Advisor or in customer technical service.
• Good knowledge of vehicles and automotive systems; relevant training considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Team spirit, analytical skills, organization; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
• Proficiency in computer tools and CRM/ERP processes.
