Commis accountant – sales (experienced) – Saint-Laurent Hyundai

Saint-Laurent Hyundai, a dealership located in the Montreal area, is looking for an experienced sales accounting clerk to handle the administrative follow-up of new and used vehicle sales and support the accounting team.

Your main responsibilities

  • Record and register sales in the management system and in the sales journal (new and used).
  • Verify and prepare documents related to sales: purchase orders, exchanges, financing agreements, insurance contracts, and warranties.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and operational KPIs.
  • Maintain and update client records and CRM database; ensure proper filing and archiving of documents.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality policies and document accuracy.
  • Collaborate with sales and financing teams to optimize information flow and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of accounting and administrative processes.

Desired profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (sales accounting, administrative secretary in an automotive environment, etc.).
  • Proficiency with computer tools: MS Office suite; sales management/CRM software; Excel; knowledge of ERP or accounting software is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and team spirit.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset; ability to communicate with clients and financial partners.
  • Rigor, reliability, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
