Sales Director — Repentigny Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette (Tremblay Auto Group)

Repentigny Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, a member of Tremblay Auto Group, is seeking a Sales Director to lead our sales team and achieve our ambitious goals in a customer-service oriented modern dealership located in Repentigny, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the sales strategy for new Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles, aligned with the group’s objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to exceed monthly and annual targets while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Develop business action plans, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare forecasts and the division’s budgets.
  • Oversee vehicle presentations, road tests and promotional activities; optimize the showroom and displays.
  • Work closely with the Service, Parts and Financing departments to optimize the customer journey and maximize profitability.
  • Implement ongoing training and coaching programs for the sales team.
  • Manage recruitment, performance evaluations and career development plans to maintain a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand image standards and sales procedures in line with local regulations.
  • Produce regular reports to management and propose improvement initiatives based on data analysis.

Required profile and qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating sales leadership abilities, ideally in the automotive industry.
  • Solid experience in team management, strategic planning and budgeting, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills; results-oriented and able to motivate a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and reporting software; ability to analyze data and make operational decisions.
  • Bilingual French-English preferred; in-depth knowledge of the Quebec market and dealership sales practices.
  • Relevant degree in administration, marketing or related field preferred; practical experience takes precedence.
