Sales Director – New and Used Vehicles
Joliette Mitsubishi, a well-known dealership located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, Quebec, is seeking a Sales Director to lead and develop our sales team and provide an excellent customer experience.
Job Description
- Define and drive the sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales and profit goals.
- Supervise, motivate, and coach the sales team; ensure their ongoing training and professional development.
- Set individual and collective objectives, monitor performance, produce reports and analyses, and propose corrective actions.
- Manage the client and partner portfolio; develop existing relationships and prospect new markets.
- Work in synergy with after-sales, marketing, and finance departments to ensure the execution of sales plans and optimize the customer experience.
- Oversee the sales process (negotiation, financing, and options) while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with internal policies.
- Control budgets and margins, and ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Ensure smooth cross-functional communication with various teams to ensure sustainable sales performance.
Profile Sought
- Minimum experience: 3 years in sales management, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Proven leadership skills, ability to coach and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and automotive financing and insurance processes.
- Analytical mindset for analyzing sales data and making strategic decisions.
- Fluent in French; knowledge of English is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
