Used Sales Director – Vaudreuil Volkswagen

Job Description

You lead and develop the Used Car Sales department to achieve and surpass volume and profitability targets. You define and implement a business strategy focused on certified and pre-owned vehicles, optimize pricing and mix, and ensure an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the purchasing process. You supervise and develop the used sales team and work closely with the Finance, Service, and Parts departments to deliver a smooth and integrated experience. You manage inventory, acquisitions, and promotions, while adhering to Volkswagen standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Used Sales strategy to maximize volume and profitability.
• Set clear objectives and monitor KPIs (monthly volume, conversion rate, margins, acquisition cost) while adjusting action plans.
• Manage used vehicle inventory, purchases, and promotions; optimize sourcing (auctions and online platforms).
• Collaborate with the Finance department to offer attractive financing solutions; coordinate with Service and Parts to provide a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze performance and suggest operational and tactical improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Volkswagen policies and standards and deliver a consistent, high-level customer experience.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the used sales team; oversee skill development and leadership.

Profile

• Minimum experience: 5 years managing the Used Sales department.
• Expertise in vehicle purchasing (excluding customer exchanges) and knowledge of the local market.
• Proficiency in financing procedures for used vehicles.
• Proven leadership, team management skills, excellent communication, and results-oriented.
• Proficient with CRM tools and sales platforms; ability to analyze data and act quickly.
• Bilingual French-English; valid driver’s license.
