Senior Clerk – Progression to Parts Director

Longueuil Nissan, Nissan’s reference on the South Shore and in the Montréal region, is seeking a Senior Clerk capable of advancing to the position of Parts Director to strengthen its Parts Department team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a role related to automotive parts or in team management, with natural leadership, exemplary customer service and strong analytical abilities. Supervisory experience is an asset.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the parts department (stock control, orders, receipts and returns).
• Guide, train and develop the parts team to provide fast, high-quality customer service.
• Plan and optimize Nissan parts inventory, analyze stock levels, stockouts and turnover.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Service departments to ensure parts availability and customer satisfaction.
• Manage suppliers and orders, monitor lead times and resolve any disputes.
• Establish and monitor performance indicators (service rate, stock turnover, inventory accuracy, order cycle time).
• Ensure compliance with Nissan procedures and the quality of customer service.
• Actively participate in the development of the department and lead discussions with internal stakeholders.

Profile and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a role related to automotive parts or in team management (parts counter, parts management, Parts Director, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership, excellent organization and a customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of inventory processes and parts management systems (DMS or equivalents).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and to prioritize tasks.
• Relevant education (DEP/DEC or equivalent experience) or an equivalent background in the field.
• Good level of autonomy and initiative.
