Parts counter person

Position: Parts and Supply Clerk – Auto Center (Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville)

About the position This role supports mechanics by identifying and supplying the appropriate parts for vehicle repairs at the auto center. You will be responsible for managing parts and inventory, estimates, and orders, while ensuring smooth communication with the counter staff and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized systems to research and manage automotive parts and services (estimates, orders, inventory control and accuracy).
• Prepare work estimates and track their progress with technical advisors and workshop technicians.
• Respond quickly to inquiries and facilitate communication between counter staff and the auto center.
• Support technical advisors via phone and at the counter when needed.
• Perform procurement and ordering of parts, tires, workshop supplies, and products from suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the parts and tire department in the warehouse and ensure proper controls.

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Parts Clerk/Sales Advisor (a clear asset).
• Experience in automotive or very good knowledge of the field (an asset).
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with computer tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Personal qualities: be organized, personable, and have good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
