Workshop Storekeeper / Parts Clerk – Automotive

About the Position Join a dynamic team focused on customer satisfaction. You support mechanics by ensuring the supply of parts and tires, managing inventory, and serving at the counter. You act as the interface between the counter, technical service, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Use computerized systems to search for auto parts and services (quotations, orders, inventory control and management).
• Prepare work estimates and follow up with the technical advisors and technicians.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to inquiries.
• Maintain a smooth communication line with the counter staff and the auto center; immediately inform receipt of parts and tire orders.
• Support technical advisors over the phone and at the counter as needed.
• Manage the procurement and ordering of parts, tires, workshop supplies, and products; collaborate closely with the purchasing department.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized within the parts and tires department; apply proper stock controls.
• Manage customer reception, sales of parts and accessories, as well as tire and wheel sales.
• Handle warehouse management and inventories; process supplier invoices and monitor repair timelines.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in the automotive field or sector knowledge (an asset).
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Good command of computer tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Organized mindset, good communication skills, and a sense of responsibility.

Qualifications and Qualities

• 1 year of experience as a Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor.
• Personal qualities: organized, autonomous, leadership, and customer service oriented.
