Job Offer: Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor

We are recruiting a Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join our team in Repentigny. Under the supervision of the parts manager, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in-store and over the phone, providing technical advice on parts and accessories and ensuring an optimal customer experience. You will work closely with the service team and workshop to ensure the compatibility of parts with Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and advise customers on suitable parts and accessories for their vehicles.
• Identify part references and codes, check stock levels, and place orders if necessary.
• Manage orders, returns, and installation of parts as needed.
• Collaborate with the store and service team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Keep the parts aisle clean, organized, and attractive; contribute to inventory management.
• Use computer systems and point-of-sale software to record sales and customer requests.
• Provide quick and courteous service to retain customers.
• Add value during tire and wheel sales when appropriate.

Profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in automotive parts sales or customer service role.
• Good general knowledge of automotive parts and accessories; quick learner of references related to Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC brands is an asset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with computer tools and parts management systems; knowledge of ERP or POS systems is an asset.
• Flexible schedule and availability to meet the operational needs of the dealership.
