Parts Clerk / Advisor – OEM Parts Sales and Solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the workshop and after-sales service to ensure parts availability and prompt installation if necessary.
• Prepare and process parts requests through the internal system, prepare quotes, and follow up on orders until delivery.
• Manage the inventory of parts in the showroom and warehouse: receiving, labeling, organizing, and conducting periodic inventories.
• Handle counter transactions accurately and adhere to internal procedures.
• Actively participate in promotions and sales goals: suggest cross-selling opportunities and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to the continuous improvement of the parts department processes.
• Welcome customers, identify their needs, and recommend the most suitable parts and accessories.
• Advise on OEM parts and alternatives, explaining their features, benefits, and technical implications.
• Assist in selling parts, accessories, and, if applicable, tires and wheels.

Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales or an equivalent position, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Good knowledge of automotive parts and accessories; ability to read catalogs and use parts management systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, active listening, and the ability to propose appropriate solutions.
• Rigor, attention to detail, and time management; capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
