Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor (Automotive Parts) – Lévis (Canadian Tire)

Canadian Tire Lévis is looking for a passionate Automotive Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team.

About the position

You will advise and assist customers in choosing automotive parts and accessories, ensuring reference accuracy and providing quick, personalized service. You will contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service in the parts department.

Your responsibilities

• Greet customers, quickly identify their needs, and suggest appropriate parts and accessories.
• Advise on compatibility, specifications, and usage of parts; ensure reference accuracy.
• Manage orders, returns, and follow-up with suppliers and the store, respecting internal procedures.
• Collaborate with the sales team and technicians to provide fast, personalized service.
• Maintain the organization of the parts section, keep the counter clean, and monitor stock levels.
• Process transactions at the checkout and adhere to customer service policies.
• Contribute to meeting sales objectives and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Sell parts, accessories, and tires/wheels based on store needs.

Skills and qualifications required

• Good knowledge of automotive parts and basic mechanical systems (braking, suspension, engine, electrical) — an asset for providing expert advice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of service, active listening; fluent in French; English would be an asset.
• Team spirit, organization, rigor, and results-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with sales software and the ability to quickly learn parts management systems.
• Availability for flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
• Relevant training or diploma (DEP, DEC, or equivalent) considered an asset.
