Parts Clerk / Parts Sales Advisor – Laval (440 Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd.)

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Parts Clerk / Parts Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the parts department, you support customers and technicians by ensuring fast and efficient access to the necessary parts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy, understand their automotive parts needs.
• Advise customers on the selection and use of parts, and ensure their satisfaction.
• Manage inventory and orders to maintain an adequate stock level.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure smooth communication about orders and their availability.
• Respond to customer inquiries (in person and by phone) by providing accurate information on prices, availability, and delivery times.
• Track orders and guide customers through the purchasing process.

Daily tasks

• Customer service

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; training in the automotive field considered an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to establish positive relationships with customers.
• Organizational sense and attention to detail; ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and stock management systems.
