Parts Clerk – Lachute Subaru (temporary, potential for permanent position)

About the position The Lachute Subaru team warmly welcomes you. As a Parts Clerk, you will play a key role in the operation of the parts department and after-sales service. You will meet the needs of customers and the workshop by searching for, preparing, and tracking the necessary parts and accessories. Your organizational skills and service-oriented approach will contribute to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and advising

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding automotive parts and accessories, over the phone and at the counter
  • Advise customers in choosing the right parts for their needs
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service

• Managing parts and orders

  • Enter, ship, and track parts orders
  • Verify receipts and ensure order control
  • Place parts in inventory and keep the department organized

• Support for workshop operations

  • Supply technicians with the necessary parts for repairs
  • Prepare estimates for customers in collaboration with technical advisors
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations

Desired profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience
• DEP in advising and selling motorized equipment parts required
• Comfort with computer systems
• Knowledge of automotive parts
• Experience with CDK software is an asset

Benefits and conditions

• Compensation: starting hourly rate of $20, with potential adjustment based on experience and skills
• Hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
