Experienced Auto Painter – CarrXpert Longueuil

CarrXpert Longueuil is seeking an experienced auto painter to strengthen its dedicated team for repair and bodywork. The ideal candidate has mastered automotive painting techniques, shares our quality standards, and works precisely in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (sanding, masking, degreasing) and check the condition of parts before painting.
• Mix and measure shades, prepare primers, base coats, and varnishes; apply layers using spray guns following technical sheets and safety standards.
• Perform touch-ups and quality controls after each finishing step.
• Carry out masking and free areas that are not to be painted; check uniformity and color under natural and artificial light.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the workshop and booths; clean and maintain painting equipment.
• Collaborate with technicians and other teams to meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to safety procedures and environmental standards.

Profile Sought

• Required experience: 3 years in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of painting products, shade mixing techniques, and use of spraying equipment; ability to read technical sheets and color codes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, constant concern for work quality.
• Punctuality, diligence, and independence; team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Compliance with safety instructions and current standards.
